PLANS have been unveiled for a gym for people with learning difficulties in the premises of the National Co-operative Chemists in Malborough, Seaham.
An application has been submitted to Durham County Council seeking permission to change the use of the premises from retail to a gym.
REPORT SHORTLISTED: East Durham Homes annual report has been shortlisted in the Excellence in Annual Reports category of the Northern Region Tenant Participation Advisory Service Awards 2014. The judges were looking for examples of annual reports that have been produced with partnership working and have created a document that is valued by the tenants of that organisation. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on the April 11.
PLANS RESUBMITTED: An application seeking planning permission for five dwellings at the former West House and Collingwoods Bus Services at 1 Gable Terrace, Wheatley Hill, has been re-submitted to Durham County Council. Consideration is pending.
