NEW College Durham, in Framwellgate Moor, Durham City, has hosted a special networking evening for Durham Business Club.
Students offered guests beauty treatments and a buffet dinner. More than 80 people attended.
The college is a founding member of the club.
SUPPORT GROUP: The Durham Osteoporosis Support Group meets in the common room of the education centre at the University Hospital of North Durham, Durham City, on the third Tuesday of each month at 7.30pm. The group offers advice and assistance to men and women who suffer from osteoporosis, a brittle bone disease. The next meeting is Tuesday, March 18.
ORGAN RECITAL: John Hosking, of St Asaph Cathedral, north Wales, will given an organ recital in Durham University’s Hatfield College chapel on Friday, February 28, at 1.10pm. Entry is free and open to all.
FILM MORNING: Alington House women’s group will have a film morning on Thursday, February 27, from 11am to 1pm. The group meets at Alington House, 4 North Bailey, Durham, each Thursday. The cost is £2 per person, including tea and coffee.
