CROOK Hall and Gardens, on Sidegate, Durham City, will hold a wedding fair on Saturday, March 29, from 11am to 4pm. There will be around 50 exhibitors. Entry is free. It is the first time the attraction has hosted a wedding fair.

COFFEE AFTERNOON: Age UK County Durham will hold a fundraising coffee afternoon at North Road Methodist Church, North Road, Durham, on Wednesday (February 26) from 2pm to 3.30pm.

LA TASCA: Spanish restaurant chain La Tasca, which has a branch on Durham’s Saddler Street, has launched a competition to find the face of La Tasca. Diners are encouraged to upload pictures of themselves to the La Tasca Twitter page, @latasca. The winner will get a makeover, professional photo shoot and portfolio of photos.
