COMEDIAN Chris Ramsey launched a new photography exhibition which includes a picture of himself during a visit to Durham.
The star of sitcom Hebburn opened Behind The Scenes, a show by Chester-le-Street photographer Donna-Lisa Healy, at the Gala Theatre before playing a sold-out comedy show at the Durham City venue.
The exhibition features photographs of performances backstage, including The Hairy Bikers, Jack Dee, John Bishop and Ramsey himself.
The popular comic said: “The picture of me looks lovely. I always like having my picture in theatres but it’s usually on a flyer – it’s nice to have a professional one done.
“Gala is a theatre that means a lot so I am pleased to have my picture in here.”
Ms Healy said: “The project has been more than a year in the making and in that time I have had the great privilege to work with some of the UK’s leading performers.
“I am eternally grateful to Gala for giving me this opportunity.”
The exhibition is open until further notice and entry is free.
