YOUNG people in a former pit village will be giving their home a spring clean.
Junior wardens in Grange Villa, Chester-le-Street . will join in a community litter pick, taking place on Monday (February 17) between 10am and noon.
County Durham Police and Crime Commissioner Ron Hogg will also be taking part with residents and councillors The event is part of an eight-week programme of activity in Grange Villa which has been organised by Durham County Council’s Community Action Team to tackle issues in the community..
