East Durham College’s Peterlee Campus is set to host a free football event aimed at 14 to 17 year olds during half term on Tuesday February 18. The FA’s Football Mash Up will take place between noon and 3.30pm and will feature things such as FA freestyle champions demonstrating their skills, five action-packed skills stations and FA approved coaches will be on hand to help attendees improve their game.
STABLE PLANS: A planning application has been submitted to Durham County Council seeking planning permission for stables and an agricultural building, as well as the change of use of land for equestrian purposes to the south of Culloden Terrace, Grant Houses, near Peterlee.
PACT MEETING: A Police and Community Together (Pact) meeting will be held at the Easington Social Welfare Centre, Seaside Lane, Easington Colliery, from 6pm to 7pm on Wednesday, February 19. A member of the neighbourhood policing team will be in attendance.
