AMATEUR actors who bared all last year for a production of Calendar Girls are preparing to do so again next week.
Chester-le-Street Theatre Group staged the show in May in the town’s community centre, but on Monday (February 10) they will bring it to the stage of Durham’s Gala Theatre.
Theatre director Julia Dryden said all profits from the performance would be donated to Lymphoma and Leukaemia Research.
“Tim Firth's play has been offered on limited release to amateur groups to raise much needed funds for this cause, and we are proud to be bringing the show to the Gala. By the end of the month amateur groups will no longer be permitted to stage the show, so the performance is being staged just in time.”
The performance starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available from the Gala box office on 0191-332 4041.
