HUMANISTS MEETING: The next meeting of the North East Humanists’ Durham discussion group will take place at 88 Hastings Avenue, Durham City, on Wednesday (February 12) at 7pm. BRITTANY LECTURE: Professor Chris Scarre, of Durham University, will deliver a lecture on “Coasts, Cairns and Carnac - The Neolithic Archaeology of Brittany” in Durham City on Saturday (February 8). The talk, held by the Architectural and Archaeological Society of Durham and Northumberland, takes place in Elvet Riverside Room 140, in New Elvet, at 2.30pm. Admission is free.
CRICKET CLUB: Durham City Cricket Club will hold its annual general meeting in the clubhouse, Green Lane, Durham, on Monday (February 10) at 7.30pm. All members are encouraged to attend.
