A planning application for the construction of a single-storey extension at the side and rear of a house in Park Road North, Chester-le-Street, has been submitted to Durham County Council planners for approval.
Pub gig: Singer Alan Knights will be performing tomorrow night (Saturday October 5) at The Red Lion pub, Milbanke Close, Ouston, near Chester-le-Street. The gig starts at 9pm and there is no admission charge.
Zumba class: A weekly Zumba class will be held at the Chester-le-Street Community Association’s centre on Newcastle Bank on Monday (October 7) between 6pm and 7pm. It is a drop-in session and costs £3.
