TWO free family fun days are taking place at Sacriston Children’s Centre this month.
Families are invited to the Durham County Council-run Sure Start Centre between 10am and noon on Saturday ( June 8).
There will be a free raffle, tombola, face painting, storytelling, messy play and refreshments available for parents and carers of the under-fives.
Elaine Webster, senior family worker, said: “We are planning a really fun-filled morning of activities and to make it extra special there is a great opportunity for three to five-year olds to join in a Sunderland AFC Little Dribblers session.
“We are hoping lots of families, and especially dads and male carers, will come along and join us.”
On Saturday, June 15 the children’s centre is joining the Sacriston Heritage Day celebrations.
Between 11am and 3pm families can have some old fashioned fun with toys and games from the past and other resources from Beamish Museum, with lots of other activities available at the school.
For further information call Elaine Webster at the Children’s Centre on 03000-268-460.
