Durham Osteoporosis Support Group will hold an awareness meeting and coffee morning on Saturday (June 8) in Chester-le-Street Parish Centre from 10am to noon. Group members will be on hand to discuss and advise on the prevention and treatment of all aspects of the condition. Tea and refreshments will be available as well as a bric-a-brac and book stall.
EXTENSION PLAN: Durham County Council is being asked To grant planning permission for an extension to a detached garage at a house in Fenwick Close, Chester-le-Street.
ROCK NIGHT: The Jo James Band will play The Red Lion pub, Milbanke Close, Ouston, on Saturday (June 8) at 9pm. Entry is free.
