A STUDENT landlord has been honoured in a national awards ceremony.
Bill Free Homes was given the silver prize in the student sector of The Times/Sunday Times’ Letting Agency of the Year Awards at The Lancaster Hotel, in London, on Friday, May 24.
The firm, based on New Elvet, Durham, runs more than 100 homes in the city, with 450 tenants.
Property manager Sean Lawless accepted the award from Karren Brady, the businesswoman and vice-chairman of West Ham United.
Director Peter Smith said: “We were very pleased to be in the final and to come home with something like this is fantastic.”
