A Police and Community Together (Pact) meeting will be held at the Healthworks Building, Paradise Lane, Easington Colliery, from 6pm to 7pm on Monday, June 3. A representative of the neighbourhood policing team will be in attendance.
LITTLE LIGHTS: A mother and toddler group called Little Lights will meet at St Cuthbert’s Church, Shadforth, near Durham City, from 1.30pm to 2.30pm on Wednesdays, from June 5. PARKING PLANS: Accent Foundation has applied to Durham County Council for permission to change the use of public open space to create off-street parking at Cornwall Street, Easington Colliery. Consideration is pending.
BUNGALOW PROPOSED: Plans have been unveiled for a three-bedroom detached bungalow at Ladie Garth Cottage, Lanchester. Plans submitted to Durham County Council seeking approval, include proposals for a detached double garage incorporating an office space/workshop and associated landscaping. A decision is pending.
BRIDGE GROUP: A bridge group meets in the room next to the coffee lounge at Bannatyne’s Health Club, Belmont, Durham City, from 1.30pm to 4pm on Tuesdays. Players do not need a partner or be a member of the health club. Refreshments are available.
COFFEE MORNING: A coffee morning will be held at North Road Methodist Church, Durham City, from 10am to 1pm on Saturday June 8. Soup and bacon sandwiches will be served from 11am.
