THREE parish councillors with around 75 years’ service between them have retired.
Billy Tickell, John Barker and Stan Robinson have all stood down from Cassop-cum-Quarrington Parish Council.
Mr Tickell and Mr Barker, both of Bowburn, had each served 30 years on the authority.
Mr Robinson had been a parish councillor for 15 years. His late wife Maggie was a councillor for 28 years, serving until her death in January.
