New College Durham hospitality and catering students receive their certificates
HOSPITALITY and catering trainees have been presented with special awards.
The New College Durham students were rewarded for their work in hosting the annual general meeting of the Durham Town and Gown Society.
Michael Banks, the society’s chairman, presented special certificates.
He said: “We are hugely appreciative of the quality of service and wonderful food that we received.
“It was a fantastic evening and we would like to wish all the students every success in the future as they embark on their new careers in the catering industry.”
