A LIBRARY is on track for a week of railway-themed family activities.
Clayport Library, on Millennium Place, Durham, is hosting a range of free sessions as part of Local History Month.
Staff from Darlington Railway Museum: Head of Steam will host a children’s activity drop-in session on Saturday (May 25) from 12.30pm to 4pm.
Experts from Durham County Record Office will run a craft session on Tuesday (May 28) from 1pm to 3pm.
Beamish Museum staff will run a session on the locomotive Puffing Billy on Wednesday, May 29, from 1pm to 3pm.
Finally, there will be a railway crafts and rhymes session on Friday, May 31, at 2.15pm.
