THE last piano recital in the spring season at Belmont Parish Hall will take place on Thursday, May 30. The 2.30pm recital will feature Tristan Lee, a UK-based Australian pianist who has performed across the world. He will play two Sonatas by Beethoven and Brahms. AFTERNOON CONCERT: Two Durham University students will perform at North Road Methodist Church, North Road, Durham, at 2.30pm on Saturday (May 25). Jo Miles will play piano music by Bach, Mendelsson and Debussy. Emma Price, accompanied by Marion Senior, will sing songs by Arne, Mozart and Faure. Entry is free. There will be a collection in aid of church funds.

CRAFT FAIR: A craft fair will be held at St Mary and St Cuthbert’s Parish Centre, Middle Chare, Chester-le-Street, on Saturday (May 25) from 10am to 2pm. Entry is free. There will be around 25 stalls.
