A GYM member is planning a six-hour workout for charity.
Ian Pow, 51, hopes to raise £1,000 for Cancer Research UK through his efforts at the Chester-le-Street branch of Bannatyne’s on Thursday (May 16).
He will put himself through his paces by performing various exercises and using a rowing machine and treadmill and swimming for half an hour.
Mr Pow said: “Cancer is something that touches everybody is some way or other, with the many kinds of the disease that there are out there.
“I have been around health clubs all my life so it is perfect to be having a fund-raiser at Bannatyne’s.”
