Plans have been unveiled to convert a former campus for East Durham College into a home. An application has been submitted to Durham County Council seeking permission to change the use of Londonderry Dene House, Harbour Walk, in Seaham. The Victorian building is set in four acres of grounds. Consideration is pending.
PACT MEETING: A Police and Community Together (Pact) meeting will be held at 7a Westgrove, Westlea, Seaham, from 6pm to 7pm tomorrow (Thursday, May 16). A member of the neighbourhood policing team for Deneside, Westlea and Eastlea will be in attendance.
HOUSING DEVELOPMENT: A planning application has been submitted to Durham County Council seeking outline permission for seven homes at 1 Fleming Field, Shotton Colliery. Consideration is pending.
