DURHAM Police and Crime Commissioner Ron Hogg will talk to residents about policing.
The County Durham Residents Association (CRDA) is hosting a conference on Thursday (May 16) that will look at changes in law enforcement and legal representation.
The other guest speakers are a solicitor, who will discuss changes to Legal Aid and how this can impact in civil disputes, and a police representative who will be discussing the various ways the police and public can interact.
There will be a question and answer session at the end of each talk.
The meeting will be held at the Hazelwell Centre, Haswell, near Peterlee..
Registration and coffee are at 9.30am and the event is due to finish at 2.30pm.
A free lunch will be provided.
