AIR force personnel put college students through their paces during an intensive training day.
Royal Air Force members staged activities at New College Durham, in Durham City, aimed at developing students’ teamwork, leadership and communication skills.
Daniel Hodkinson, 16, from Crook, said: “The training session was really informative.
“I learnt how important it is to listen carefully and work together with others.
“Once you thought about it and worked together as a team, a lot of the tasks were easier than they seemed at first.”
Those taking part were Level 3 Public Services students.
