The Holy Trinity Church in Washington Village is holding a Flower Festival, Celebrating the Northern Saints, from Friday, May 17, to Sunday May 19. Admission to the preview evening on Friday is £5, including refreshments, while tickets for a concert by Holy Trinity Choir and Westoe Colliery Band at 7pm on Saturday are £6. The church will be open for free viewing on Saturday and Sunday.
AUDITIONS: The South Moor Musical Theatre Group is inviting young people aged from six to 13 years old to audition for its production of Oliver, at the Lamplight Arts Centre, Stanley, from 10am to 4pm on Sunday May 19. MALE CHOIR: The Easington Colliery Methodist Church in Seaside Lane, Easington, will present a concert by the Hartlepool Male Voice Choir t 7.30pm on Monday May 13. Admission is £3 with proceeds going toward church funds.
