DISABLED sportsmen and women are invited to be assessed by coaches during a Disability Talent Identification Event at Maiden Castle sports ground, near Durham City, on Tuesday, April 23. The event, which runs from 6pm to 9pm, is for over 16s. Sports include rugby, rowing, tennis, table tennis, fencing, basketball, football and volleyball. For more information, call 0191-334-2165.
COMPUTING CONFERENCE: CM13, an international conference organised by Durham University and the UK Association of Computational Mechanics in Engineering, will close tomorrow (Wednesday, March 27). The three-day conference is being held at Durham University.
