A MULTIPLE Sclerosis sufferer is doing a bag pack to raise money for the MS Trust.

Mother-of-two Liz Hilland, of Kimblesworth, near Chester-le-Street, will pack shopping in return for donations at Sainsbury’s, the Arnison Centre, Pity Me, Durham, on Good Friday (March 29) .

Last year Mrs Hilland held a garden party at her home that raised more than £500 for the charity. and totaled £3,000 through the year with other events and activities.

Mrs Hilland said: “I will be doing another garden party this year and I also have a zip-slide off the Tyne Bridge on May 12 with my daughter Emma Hilland, my niece Caroline Westgarth and my cousin Michael Jackson.

“Hopefully we will get plenty of sponsors as I want to raise £5,000 this year. I have already raised £400.”
