FAMILIES are invited to spend Easter enjoying a medieval hall and gardens.

Crook Hall and Gardens, in Durham City, will host an Easter Treasure Hunt from Thursday (March 28) to Tuesday, April 2, with the Easter Bunny on hand to help children taking part.

There will also be games and storytelling in front of the fire.

Visitors are also invited to explore the Hall’s Shakespeare Garden, Silver and White Garden, Cathedral Garden and Secret Walled Garden.

Refreshments will be served in the Courtyard Cafe and Georgian Dining Room.
