A PRIMARY school will say farewell to a teacher who has been there 28 years next week (Wednesday, March 27).
Barbara Lamb will retire from Neville’s Cross Primary School, in Durham City, at Easter.
Miss Lamb has travelled to the school from her home in Morpeth, Northumberland, every working day for 28 years.
On Wednesday, former pupils, parents and teachers are invited to a farewell party from 2pm to 5pm.
Refreshments will be served and donations will go to the Charlie Bear for Cancer Care charity.
