The Park View Community Association in Chester-le-Street will hold 5 – a – side and 7- a- side football tournaments for under-10s during the summer and autumn following a successful 5-a-side event for teams from the town and beyond Anyone interested in taking part should call Pam Marshman on 0191-388-1043.
DROP-IN EVENT: Cestria Community Housing will hold a drop-in at Lawson Court, West Pelton, on Monday (March 25) at 10.15am when tenants can talk to their Supported Housing Assistant.
ON SONG: The Red Lion pub, in Milbanke Close, Ouston, will hold a buskers night on Thursday (March 28) from 9pm. Admission is free.
PLAN APPROVED: Asif Khan and Mark Nellist have been granted planning permission by Durham County Council to use a former garage in Front Street, Pelton, for a car valeting business, a tattoo parlour , dance studio and hairdressing salon.
MORE ROOM: Durham County Council has given planning permission for an extension to the back and side of a house in Crichton Avenue, Chester-le-Street.
