VOLUNTEERING EVENT: A course aimed at improving people’s skills through volunteering will be held at Alington House community centre, North Bailey, Durham, on April 16 and 17, from 10am to 4pm. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. The event is free for the unwaged. To book, call 0191-386-4088.

COFFEE MORNING: Alington House Community Centre, on North Bailey, Durham, will hold a coffee morning on Thursday, March 28, from 10.30am to 1pm. There will be an Easter-themed menu, tombola and lucky dip, plus craft activities for children. All are welcome.
