EASTER holiday activities are being laid on for youngsters in and around Chester-le-Street.
Chester-le-Street Extended Services has organised a programme of free events for both weeks of the break, from April 2 to 11.
It includes sessions in street dance and Hip Hop, cricket, football, arts and crafts, cheerleading and Brazilian soccer.
It will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of both weeks between 1 and 3pm at the Hermitage Academy, Room 14 Pelton Community Centre, Pelton Fell Brockwell Centre, Great Lumley Community Centre, and Sacriston’s Fulforth Centre. The activities are for children aged between five to 16.
Children under eight years must be accompanied by an adult. No booking is needed and youngsters can turn up to the venue on the day.
Anyone with a disabled child that requires extra support should book a place through Jodie Cowie, Extended Services Co-ordinator, on 07939-451387.
