HUNDREDS of people enjoyed a free Christmas family fun day at the weekend (Saturday, December 8).
More than 400 people attended Emmanuel Church Durham’s fourth such annual event, held at The Durham Centre, on Belmont Industrial Estate, Durham, on Saturday.
There were lots of family activities, including face painting, crafts, games, a rodeo reindeer, bouncy castle and big-screen video games. Santa’s Grotto also proved a big hit.
The church will be hosting a Christmas Sunday service at 10.30am on Sunday, December 23, and a Christmas service with Aycliffe and Brancepeth Brass Band on Sunday, December 23, at 5pm, followed by mulled wine and mince pies. All are welcome.
