FORCES’ AID: The forces’ charity SSAFA will benefit from proceeds of a church fair at Carrville, near Durham, on Saturday (NOV 3). It will be staged at Carrville Methodist Church, in the High Street, between 10 and 11.30am, and features cake stalls, a raffle, children’s toys, books and home accessories.
AUTUMN FAIR: An autumn fair takes place to raise funds for the North-East Prison After Care Society (NEPACS), in the Church Hall, alongside Elvet Methodist Church, in Old Elvet, Durham, on Saturday (NOV 3), from 10am – 12.30pm. Admission is £1, to include coffee and biscuits. There will be a range of stalls, plus home-made soup and bread.
