VILLAGERS can raise concerns with “the powers that be” at a community drop-in session next month.

Representatives of Durham Police, Durham County Council and other organisations will be on hand, staffing a temporary mobile resource centre in Langley Park, near Durham, on Tuesday November 20.

They will be happy to talk to local people with issues affecting their neighbourhood, or wider concerns within the village in general.

Members of the public can drop in at any time during the day, in the village Front Street, between 9am and 1pm.

All the bodies taking part have pledged to look into the issues raised on the day, with follow up inquiries to be made, in each case, with “the appropriate organisation”, as quickly and effectively as possible.

Further information about the community drop-in session is available from the organising body, the Safe Durham Partnership, on 0191-375-2650.
