DRIVE-IN CANCELLED: Bad weather forecast for the weekend has led to cancellation of a planned Hallowe’en drive-in film night. An early decision was taken to cancel the planned screenings of Ghostbusters and a fancy-dress competition for younger viewers and Carrie, for the post-18 audience, at Herrington Country Park, near Sunderland, on Saturday (OCT 27). Anyone who bought tickets for either the matinee or evening performances will receive a full refund, and parks staff will be on hand throughout Saturday to help anyone who arrives unaware of the cancellation.
