RETAILERS have their last chance to enter a competition that recognises the cream of Darlington's retail outlets.
The 2012 Darlington Town Centre Retail Awards will be presented at a glitzy ceremony in December.
Prizes will be awarded in 13 categories, including market stall of the year, fabulous food and best independent retailer.
New additions this year include the responsible retailer category and the night life award, for businesses open in the evening.
Last year, more than 200 shops and businesses took part in the awards and organisers are hoping to beat that total this year.
Businesses wanting to be considered should fill out an entry form, which can be found online at northern echo. co. uk/retailawards Forms can also be collected from Michelle van Vlijmen, projects officer, Town Centre Management, Town Hall, Darlington, DL1 5QT.
The completed forms should be returned to the town hall by Friday, October 26.
The awards will be presented on Wednesday, December 12, at the Dolphin Centre.
Tickets for the ceremony, which is open to the public, cost £20, including a three course meal and disco.
