POLICE are appealing for information after a man was punched in the face as he made his way home.
He was attacked in Pensbury Street, in Darlington, at 3.30am on Saturday, September 29 following a conversation with two unknown males.
The man, who was walking with his partner at the time of the attack, has been left with multiple fractures to his face.
Police have released a photo of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
He is described as white, in his mid-thirties, between 5’10” and 5’11” tall, of stocky build with dark hair, which is short on top and shaven at the sides.
At the time of the attack he was wearing a short-sleeved turquoise tshirt and dark jeans.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Durham Police on 101, quoting crime reference number DJ1205700.
