A GROUP of students are appealing for help with their green community project involving the police and a local primary school.
The Stockton Riverside Collge students are taking part in the Prince's Trust programme and want to renovate the Firthmoor police station on Burnside Road which backs on to Firthmoor Primary School, Darlington.
They need to borrow gardening equipment for the duration of the two-week project which they hope to start on Monday.
Once finished, the garden will be tended to by the primary school children who will use it to grow vegetables.
Anybody willing to lend the students equipment such as shovels, rakes and gloves, can contact the college's Prince's Trust course leader Martin Copley on 07553-367549.
