GUEST SPEAKER: The Rt Revd Justin Welby, Bishop of Durham
“October 1 is the fifth anniversary of our employment with DACYM and we wanted to highlight our work with young people.
“Over the past five years our work has grown considerably and we have worked with five of the borough’s secondary schools, offering a range of activities from the pupil support, mentoring, transition projects to assemblies, lunchtime clubs and seasonal church services.
“We have also worked with local churches of different denominations and traditions to help support their work with young people in the community, particularly through ‘Breathe’, our summer youth retreat.
“A lot has been achieved over the past five years and we want to be able share these accomplishments with local churches and individuals who have faithfully supported us and this project.”
