AN audio project celebrating memories of a North-East town will be recorded next month.
Darlington Remembers invites residents, both past and present, to record their memories of the town which will then be put onto a CD to buy.
The project was the idea of former Croft resident, Vivian Reid, who now runs the audio production company, Croft Productions .
She said: “It is nice to have a collection of memories, and with an audio piece anybody can listen to it and keep it forever.”
Ms Reid is looking for people to share their memories of Darlington, and recording will take place at Voodoo Cafe, on Skinnergate, between 10.30am and 4pm on Tuesday, October 2, 7.30pm and 9pm on Wednesday, October 3 and between 10.30am and 4pm on Thursday, October 4.
Anyone wishing to contribute is asked to contact Ms Reid on 01425-688143 or 07587-200-300, or email viv@croftproductions.co.uk
A Facebook page has also been set up for the project and can be found at facebook.com/DarlingtonRemembers
