Youth team defender Scott Harrison comes in for his Darlington debut as one of two changes for today's game with Forest Green Rovers.

Fellow teenager Adam Reach, on loan from Middlesbrough, also starts while caretaker manager Craig Liddle is likely to use defender Graeme Lee as a striker.

With Liam Hatch serving the second of a two-game ban and Ryan Bowman injured, Liddle has been left without a recognised striker.

Lee played as a forward in his youth before being handed a professional contract at Hartlepool United, but the 33-year-old has played as a centre-back throughout his senior career aside from emergencies.

Once such occasion came on Wednesday in the closing stages of the 2-1 defeat at Wrexham when Bowman limped off with an ankle injury.

John McReady has been suffering with a back problem and although initially selected to play today, he has had to pull-out. So Kris Taylor, originally dropped from the XI, will play instead.

Harrison travelled with the squad in midweek and was not on the bench, but he gets the call-up today after being taken out of the youth side which faced York City this morning, the teenagers won 2-1 at Houghall College.

Darlington are aiming to extend their recent good home form that has seen them win four of their last five games, conceding only goal in that period.
