A BANNED motorist was seen by police driving different cars on consecutive days.
James Anthony Peacock, 26, admitted two offences of driving while disqualified and two of driving without insurance when he appeared at Darlington Magistrates' Court yesterday.
Peacock, of Westminster Road, was disqualified in 2005 and could only regain his full licence after he passed an extended driving test.
Blair Martin, prosecuting, said: "The defendant was seen in a Citroen van by an officer in an unmarked vehicle. He knew that the defendant was a disqualified driver.
"The next day he was seen driving a different vehicle by officers. They also knew the defendant was disqualified."
Graham Hunsley, inmitigation, said Peacock had tried to reapply for his licence but had become frustrated when his form was returned.
The case was adjourned until December 13.
