THE group set up to help the arts sector in Darlington has unveiled plans for a Christmas fair.
Darlington for Culture (DfC) will stage its fair in Darlington Arts Centre on Saturday, November 26, featuring stalls selling a range of arts and crafts products.
The event forms part of DfC's autumn programme at the centre, funding for which has been at risk because of public spending cuts. It also follows a successful arts fair the group held as part of its five-day Summer Fling, at the end of August.
Yvonne Preston, organiser and DfC committee member, said: "Following the success of Summer Fling, we had a lot of people asking us when we would be repeating the event, so a Christmas Fair seemed like an excellent thing to do.
We hope people will come to enjoy what should be a terrific atmosphere."
The event will take place from 10am to 4.30pm. For more information see darlingtonforculture.org.
