New Spanish signing Jonatan Sanchez-Munoz comes in for his Darlington debut today as one of four changes at Luton Town.

Sanchez-Munoz has joined from Malaga and will start today's game at left-back in a game that sees manager Mark Cooper hand recalls to Chris Atkinson, Liam Hatch and James Walshaw.

Hatch returns to the line-up against a club that he spent the 2009-10 season with.

Kris Taylor, John Campbell, Ryan Bowman are taken out of the XI while John McReady has a knee injury.

Cooper has decided the time is right for big changes in light of last week's 2-0 defeat to Mansfield Town.

Two early goals were Darlington's downfall as they suffered their first home defeat of the season, and the manager is looking for a reaction at Kenilworth Road today against ninth-placed Luton.

Last season's heaviest defeat of the campaign came at Luton, a 4-0 loss, while the Hatters have scored eight goals in their last two home games combined and are undefeated this season.

Luton reached the play-off final last season, losing on penalties to AFC Wimbledon, but are expected to among the pace-setters again this time around having again invested heavily in their squad.

Recent signings Stuart Fleetwood and John Paul Kissock cost £75,000 and £50,000 respectively. Kissock made his mark on Darlington with a tremendous free-kick for Southport in a 1-1 draw last April, though he is on the bench today.

Another player among the Luton ranks known to Quakers is Amari Morgan-Smith who Cooper wanted to sign last season. He had been with Ilkeston before their demise and was on trial with Darlington and looked about to sign at The Northern Echo Arena until the Hatters pounced.
