FAMILIES made the most of the summer weather for an anniversary at the weekend.
The Friends of North Lodge Park put on a range of activities for all ages yesterday to celebrate the park's 108th anniversary.
The friends group has hosted an array of events since it formed in 2003 to raise money for the bandstand.
Yesterday's fun was held in the shadow of the bandstand, where Cockerton Silver Band played.
There was also a Punch and Judy show, miniature train ride and face painting.
Other attractions included crafts and refreshments, and information about the park and the friends group.
