A WOMAN wearing a nurse's uniform is suspected of having stolen a purse from a supermarket.
Police in Darlington are trying to trace a woman in a light blue nursing uniform after an incident in the Netto store, in Neasham Road, at 3.40pm on Tuesday, June 7.
The woman was waiting in a queue at a till when a female customer in front of her left her purse at the till.
The woman put it in her bag and left the store. The purse contained a small amount of cash.
The woman was in light blue uniform, with white trim on the collars and a black cardigan. She had mousey brown hair tied up in a loose pony tail.
