GREEN-FINGERED pupils have harvested the first crop from their school allotment.
Red Hall Primary School put in raised beds at the school's allotment site at the start of the year.
Pupils planted a variety of vegetables in the patch, the first of which have been harvested.
Deputy headteacher Ralph Goodchild said: "Pupils have planted and now harvested potatoes, which they will use in cooking club and sell to staff to raise money for the school council fund."
