FIFTY-FIVE children completed a fancy dress toddle to raise money for charity.
The youngsters, aged from four months to four-and-ahalf years, donned fancy dress for the sponsored walk around a field at Stapleton, near Darlington.
The Big Toddle event takes place each year at High Bank Nursery, at High Bank Farm, in Stapleton, to raise money for Barnardos.
Nursery manager Jennifer Thompson said: "We all had a lovely time. The children thoroughly enjoyed it - as did the staff and parents who took part.
"We had some great fancy dress outfits - ladybirds, crocodiles, a donkey, princesses - all sorts.
"The children looked great, they all received a medal to take home and we hope to have raised more than £100 for the charity."
