A NEW business club will be launched in Darlington later this month.
Darlington Mussel Club will hold its first event on Wednesday, June 29, at Marco Polo restaurant, in Skinnergate.
Founder Geoff Bowman said the club was an informal, networking event to bring business owners together without sales pitches and presentations.
There is no annual fee. However, there will be costs for individual events, which will be held in local restaurants and hotels.
The Northern Echo's editor, Peter Barron, will be guest speaker at the first event, which will be hosted by Helen Scollick, of Ultimate Finance, and Eamonn Wall, of Robson Scott.
Attendance is limited to 35.
