A FAMILY fun day will be held to celebrate the reopening of a park.
The Friends of Green Park will host the event, which will feature tombolas, stalls and face-painting. The group is also hoping a tree sculptor will be turning fallen trunks and branches into chairs and tables.
There will also be a fire engine.
Event organiser for the friends group Mary Jackson said: "It's going to be an absolutely great day - the park is looking fantastic. There's so much going on, definitely something for everybody.
"Even if people just want to come and relax, there is a picnic hill so they can sit up there and watch the fun goings-on."
The event will be held in Green Park, off Coniscliffe Road, all day on Saturday.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
