FANS are being asked to help maintain a North-East football clubs ground during the close season.
Darlington Football Club is planning a number of Spring cleaning tasks at the Northern Echo area to give the stadium a mini-makeover and are asking the clubs supporters to lend a hand.
While groundsman Gary Ventress continues his work on the pitch, several parts of the Arena need cleaning and painting.
General manager Alan Murray said: "There are lots of odd-jobs that need doing around the ground and we're keen to get as much help from our fans as possible.
There's a lot of cleaning and general tidying up to be done, both in the seating areas of the stadium but also inside the concourses and hospitality areas.
"We'd welcome any help from our fans who'd be willing to give up a little bit of time to help us save money during the summer."
Fans who have the time and are willing to help the club should call the general number 01325-387000 and ask for Steve Holmes.
