COUNCIL MEETING: The annual meeting of Darlington Borough Council takes place on Thursday at 6pm in the council chamber at Darlington town hall. The mayor and leader of the council for the forthcoming year are to be appointed at the meeting.
CYCLE CLUB: A new mountain biking club is being set up in Middleton St George and the organisers are keen to gauge the level of interest. It is proposed to cater for all ages and abilities. Anyone interested in learning more is asked to call 01325-335932 or 07523-871373.
